Hohenheim - a Romantic park

In his outstandig folio book the painter and poet Victor W.P. Heideloff (1757-1817) presents one of the masterpieces of the Romantic garden style - the landscape park of Hohenheim in Würtemberg.

In the days of its glory the park was a veritable arrangement of emotions in the landscape with rooms for many different experiences and with a preference of the period for emotional cultural elements like cottages, grottos, chapels, ruins, temples etc. organically united with the variation of plants in the park.
